Rarotonga Clockwise Bus Route
I hope this map of the Rarotonga Clockwise Bus Route serves you!
The clockwise bus departs Cook’s Corner (in town, in the capital, Avarua). It departs on the hour (00) and starts at 7am. It’s last departure is 10pm, returning to Cook’s Corner at 11pm.
It operates Monday-Saturday. There are no buses on Sundays (December-March) but from April to November, the Sunday bus is 8am until 12pm and again from 2pm until 4pm.
The anticlockwise does the route in reverse, so the numbers down the side (00, 01 .. which represent minutes past the hour) do not apply – as departures are on the half hour. Being half an hour apart, the buses cross over at Edgewater Resort, 40 minutes into the clockwise route (40 past the hour) and 10 minutes into the anticlockwise route (also 40 past the hour).
The anticlockwise bus starts at 08.30am and it’s last departure is at 4.30pm (from Cook’s Corner). This is different on Saturdays, when it’s last departure is 1.30pm, and on Sundays, when it does not operate, regardless of the time of year.
NB that the bus stops at some new places on the night route, that are not included in this list.
NB that about four stops from the day route have been excluded from the map as were not popping up as an exact location.
