Photo Diary: Continuing Our Couples Shoot at Karekare Beach

Captured: December 2020

This is the second instalment of a two part photo diary, documenting our couples shoot at Karekare. For part one, which are the photos taken at Karekare Falls, click here.

This shoot came about when a close friend of mine wanted to rebrand her photography business under its new and current name, Pearl Photography. She asked my husband and I if we would do this shoot so that she could generate some content for the rebrand.

It was a ‘heck, yes.’

Anyone who knows me knows I love photos. I love taking them, I love being in them, and mostly I love savouring them, creating photobooks and scrapbooks with them, and getting them up into frames or onto canvas.

So, in December of 2020, we drove out to Karekare, which is in the Waitākere Ranges Regional Park (Auckland). We started at Karekare Falls, and then after an outfit change, we wandered down to Karekare Beach.
